Larger than Life: Magazine Cover | Photoshop
This project is the Larger Than Life! magazine cover assignment from my Photoshopped! The Art of Retouching class. The task was to use Photoshop to seamlessly combine a minimum of 5 images from royalty-free photo libraries to create a scene with a human or animal subject either much larger or much smaller than real life.
Inspired by vintage holiday vacation magazine covers, I wanted to create a scene with two women swimming in a tropical fruit. With masks, adjustment layers, smart filters and a colour lookup, I was able to combine six stock photos to create the magazine cover of my tropical dreams!
I created the magazine mockup in Photoshop using a royalty-free .psd mockup file, and created the video using layer comps, screen recording, and CapCut.
